Family Photo Sessions are a great way to capture "snapshots in time" that your family can display and enjoy for generations to come.
Sessions will take place at your Maryland, Virginia, or Washington, D.C area home, or an outside location of your choosing. For home sessions, it's best to schedule for a time when the majority of the family is awake and together, so our goal is to schedule around nap time for any little ones so they are at their very best for the shoot.
My Family Photo Sessions are designed to capture your family in ways that document the beauty and special moments of your daily life. Real moments that capture your energy, and the true personality of your family when you are at your most comfortable. Not sure where to start? When we're together, I like to think of myself as a documentarian capturing not just a stage in your family's life, but the unique personality of each member of the family.
Lifestyle Child Sessions
From favorite activities and games to outdoor play, Lifestyle sessions are a perfect way to capture your child in his or her own element. Imagine capturing a world seen through their eyes and interests - from frolicking with siblings and pets, to baking with mom or dad, playing dress-up, bouncing on the bed, or just rolling around in the backyard!

Lifestyle Family Sessions
Generally, Lifestyle Family Photography sessions will take place in your home or a location of special meaning to your family. In these sessions, I like to capture the true fabric and flavor of your daily life - from playtime and hobbies, to sharing special moments around the house.
As with the Lifestyle Child Photography sessions, the Family Sessions are planned in advance, so it's important that we have a chat to discuss your home or desired location, the interest of the children, who will be present, and any other details they will help me capture this special chapter in your life together
Family Session - $800
- The complete digital collection download of 60+ hand edited images at the highest resolution is included, with print release
- Black and White version of each color image is included in the gallery
- 2 hour session at the location of your choice
- Travel within 30 miles of 94598 is included
ABOUT THE SESSION
Your family photography session will take place at an outdoor location or in the comfort of your own home. The location itself will largely depend on the best fit for your family. Whether it's nature or urban, I have a long list of suggestions. Also, I am open to your ideas and I am always willing to try out something new. Family sessions are typically a mix of both, posed and lifestyle. My goal with each session is to capture the true essence of each family by encouraging everyone to loosen up through play and interaction. I photograph your genuine moments together in the best possible way. If you don't feel comfortable in front of the camera, then you are no different than me. Don't worry, I will guide you through the session and those special moments will arise naturally. Each session is up to two hours long which gives us plenty of time to capture your family's story.
AFTER THE SESSION
About two weeks following the session families will be able to view and download the web gallery with about 60+ hand edited images. The gallery download will be in the highest resolution. Once you download the images you will be able to share them amongst family and friends and print with whichever print company you prefer. The digital gallery that you receive will be connected with a reputable professional print company as an additional option. Black and white version of each color image is included as a bonus.
